Britany Wildermuth is the Assistant Director of Nursing at Illinois Recovery Center, where she brings passion, dedication, and personal experience to her leadership in addiction recovery care. Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Britany began her nursing journey in 2022 after graduating from Southwestern Illinois College with her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
With a strong foundation in hospital-based care, Britany started her career on an Oncology-Hematology unit before transitioning to a medical-surgical unit. These formative experiences shaped her clinical skills and deepened her compassion for patients facing life-altering challenges.
Britany’s commitment to the field of addiction recovery is deeply personal. Her father’s successful journey through Illinois Recovery Center inspired her to pursue a path focused on helping others facing similar battles. This connection fuels her unwavering dedication to supporting clients through evidence-based care and holistic healing.
Driven, hands-on, and always eager to grow, Britany values hard work and continual learning—especially in the realm of substance use and recovery. She firmly believes in the power of “movement as medicine,” a philosophy that aligns with the Center’s approach to comprehensive wellness.
Outside of work, Britany enjoys spending time with her husband , three beloved dachshunds, and staying active through regular workouts. She embodies a balance of compassion, resilience, and action—qualities that make her a vital asset to the Illinois Recovery Center team.
